We’re weeks away from the next Super Bowl and that means plans are in order for hearty eating during game time. We’ve featured Cherry Teague’s delicious chili recipe before and it bears repeating!
Whether you’re planning a party or just hanging out with your family, you’ll score a touchdown when you use organic products from Reedy Fork Farm.
1 lb of Reedy Fork Organic Farm ground beef*
2 Tbsp oil
2 cloves of crushed garlic
1 chopped small green pepper
1 chopped medium onion
2 Tbsp of chili powder
1-15 oz can of organic tomato sauce
2-15 ounce cans of organic diced tomatoes with green chilis
1 tsp of salt
Hot Sauce to taste
4-15 oz cans of organic beans (Pintos recommended)
Brown ground beef in oil with onion and garlic. Cook until beef is no longer pink. Add green pepper, chili powder, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and hot sauce. Stir well. Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for 15 minutes. Add beans. Cook for 15-20 minutes more stirring often. Serve with grated sharp cheese and sour cream on top. Yum! Yum!
